This tribute page is in honour of my lovely mum, Mary, who passed away on 30th July 2009 aged 65 years young from this horrid disease. The symptoms were so vague and once diagnosed , it had taken a hold. She was courageous in her battle, having major surgery and 6 months of chemotherapy was well for about 2 months before then having to have radiotherapy as she had a spinal tumour. The cancer then went to her blood and she wasn't strong enough any more.
She was so brave throughout her treatment and even loved having to wear a wig !
We will always miss you and the Pink nights are a tribute to your 56 pink lipsticks and love of pink clothing .
I want to raise funds so that people do not lose their loved ones as tragically as we have.
All funds help researchers find a way of preventing the disease affecting others as it did mum.

I am now up to nearly £4k for Ovarian Cancer on this page, but from Bike rides and Great North Run, have raised over £10k .
